Spring/ Sprung

Goodness, gracious, me - almost the end of October, already - where did 2017 even go?! Well, we survived another winter - helped, in no small part by superb instore performances by the marvellous Nadia Reid and Glass Vaults. This year has also seen terrific new albums from The National, Iron & Wine, Paul Kelly, Neil Young, Swidt, Neil Finn, Lana Del Rey, Thundercat, Liam Gallagher, Beck, King Krule - basically, one of the best years in living memory, I reckon. And I hate to say it, but it's actually not too early to start thinking about Christmas - gifts for those in far-flung places, vouchers, Slow Boat tee shirts - let us take the sting out of Xmas giving!! A heap of exciting shows headed our way over the coming months - Nadia Reid, Bic Runga, Anika Moa, not to mention Future Islands, plus Auckland shows for Feist and Sir Paul McCartney!!!
