Half year report...
Well, 2010 more than half way through, in the depths of winter, roof has sprung a leak, o lordie...!!!
What have we got for you, then?! How's about a fresh batch of unique and very collectible tour programs dug out from the darkest recesses of the Slow Boat vaults, along with a whole swag of music bios, which should help while away these colder days. On the new release front, we have Ry Cooder's new collaboration with The Chieftains, "San Patricio"; Crowded House's "Intriguer"; Band Of Horses "Infinite Arms" (also on vinyl!); Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers' "Mojo"; as well as the new release from fine Auckland country band the Broken Heartbreakers, "Wintersun"; Pieta Brown's excellent "One And All" (Greg Brown's daughter!); split 7" vinyl of Die! Die! Die!'s "We Build Our Own Oppressors" on the UK Too Pure order effexor xr label; vinyl of The Ruby Suns' "Fight Softly"; a mid-priced double CD featuring two fine early 70's albums from Southern country-soul hero Joe South, "A Look Inside/ So The Seeds Are Growing"; or how about a fine Ace label compilation of "Phil Spector -The Early Productions". That should be more than enough to be getting on with, but it is probably also pertinent to remind y'all that we do a US import order every fortnight, which gives us access to a vast range of CD's, LP's and DVD's - all you have to do is ask and we will see if we can get it in for you...
Great stuff! Be seein' ya...
