August, almost!!

Crikey, and just when it seemed like it was only February, suddenly it was blimmin' AUGUST, already - almost like we lost a couple of months there...

Not gonna lie - the lockdown was not entirely unpleasant for us - a good chance to charge the batteries, and look at some things from a different perspective - working smarter rather than necessarily just harder. We were hugely grateful to everyone who got in touch, whether just to see how we were doing, or to order stuff from either our Discogs store or forthcoming releases - a special thanks to all those who ordered from us, and waited patiently for us to a) get back into the store at level 3, b) get stuff out to you (with post to US/ EU taking as long as 7 weeks!!) and c) wait for all the delayed releases to start trickling in...

Well, that trickle has become virtually a TORRENT - we now have in stock vinyl and CD copies of much-anticipated new releases from Fiona Apple, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Split Enz, Reb Fountain, Don Bryant, Straitjackets Fits... and so many more. It has been wonderful reconnecting with our regulars, and meeting new customers - truly, we are humbled and hugely grateful for your support in this year that has been quite unlike any other that I can recall...

Our love and good vibes going out to all those doing it tough (and potentially still in lockdown) in the rest of the world - Melbourne, especially feeling for you, and our many friends there.

Meantime, we are committed to continuing to provide you with a huge array of new and secondhand music - some actually amazing second hand records through lately, which we are stoked to be able to bring to you at what we hope are more than fair prices. We appreciate that the prices of new vinyl, especially, has been impacted by world events - some of our suppliers have had to factor in increases in international freight costs of up to 500%, which they are dealing with via a freight surcharge - we are hopeful that this will end when more international flights resume...

We really appreciate your support and understanding if the things you want take longer than we would like - we are, genuinely, doing our best!!! Feel free to hit us up with want lists or pre-orders for upcoming titles, and we'll do all we can to get them into your hot little hands...
